Randy Whiting, Executive Producer
Rapport Media was co-founded by Randy along with Terry . Randy is managing director of Brownstone Ventures, LLC.
Brownstone was established to develop and make early stage investments in select new media ventures. Brownstone
has participated in seed funding and development of new ventures in banking, on-line media, technology and services
companies including Play Like Me Music, @Jazz Productions, Shopping.com, Legacy Bank NA of Campbell, CA,
Pangenera, On Radio, Global Locate, and OnCall Systems.
He was previously founder and CEO of CommerceNet, an international business & technology research
company, as well as Chairman of the Board of OnRadio, an early pioneer in Internet Radio. During his tenure
at CommerceNet, he worked with a variety of international business and government leaders on the
development of Internet-based commerce that included the White House, Department of Commerce, the EU
and APECC. Under his leadership, he built CommerceNet into an internationally known new business
incubator that focused on applying new technologies to eCommerce.
Prior to joining CommerceNet, he spent 15 years at HP where he led their Marketing Communications
Technology efforts to develop and utilize new media technology (including the Internet & eCommerce) for HP’s
various worldwide sales and marketing efforts. While at HP, he was also executive producer for an
internationally distributed video documentary on emerging technologies.
Terry Gordica, Executive Producer
Terry is a co-founder and Executive Producer at Rapport Media. He has an in-depth knowledge of
video / film production and digital media as well as a keen understanding of the trends of the video market.
His creative and technical expertise enables the creation and delivery of new marketable video products that
are adaptable to current and emerging media distribution channels including DVD, VOD, Video IPOD, IPTV
and Interactive TV.
For over 30 years, Terry Gordica has been in the TV business -- from syndicated exercise and cooking shows
to dramatic episodic TV series and films including: Forever Knight, FX-the series, Robocop, Kung Fu, and
SCTV. He has worked with numerous leading-edge digital media ventures and has delivered projects for
such clients as Warner Brothers, MGM, HBO, Showtime and numerous other Network and Entertainment
industry giants.
Terry’s experience is comprised of working with talent of both sides of the camera - from actors to directors
such as Peter Bogdanovich, Joe Dante and Daniel Petrie Sr. He’s worked with the musical talents of Ray
Charles, Henry Mancini, Tony Bennet, and many more.
As well as supervising the final assembly of various TV/Film projects, Terry’s achievements also include:
creating an early all digital post production facility that generated revenues of $5 million in the first 24 months
of operation; pushed the envelope of entertainment including: completion of one of the first HDTV mini-series;
and the creation of original programming for Interactive Television.
Terry has received 4 Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Awards and has been nominated for
International Tele-production Society Awards and Canada’s Gemini Awards.
